The weather was terrible on yesterday’s evening. Both the wind and rain was strong. There was hardly anyone walking around the streets. I was very hungry at around 5pm, waiting for my professor. Finally, at around 6+pm, I departed back to the dormitory. There were a few people beside the entrance of the Millennium building, waiting for the weather to get better I guess. I waited there as well, for a chance to run over to Design Hall, which is located just opposite it. There were many huge glass windows in Design Hall and it was really scary when the wind hit on it. They were shaking loudly and as if going to break into pieces. I hurried my way up to the highest floor of the building, which has a connected bridge to the higher ground. From Design Hall, I rushed over to Dream Engineering Valley(DEV). I met Kok Sin there and he said that the nearest door to the dormitory was locked. Ah… why they kept on locking the doors almost everywhere on that day…Together we ran all the way back to the International House. It was a very long way. Using the umbrella is useless during such weather. I could hardly walk straight with the strong wind blowing in the opposite direction. Both of us were soaking wet by the time we reached the dormitory. My head was like spinning in circles. I was surprised to find that my bag was open when I reached my room and my pencil case was missing. Luckily my Indian friend, Gupta found it on the way back. Phew~
Today’s weather is extremely good. The sky is blue and clear with fluffy clouds. There are no signs that another typhoon is going struck Busan again. The weather will be good for the rest of the week ^^
