Mountain Hiking & Farewell Eileen!

September 24, Saturday – I woke up at around 7.20am as I will be going for a small mountain hiking at the mountain behind our dormitory with BJun and Wei Shi. Eileen already woke up by then as her flight was at around 11am. We departed at around 8am. It took us around 2 hours to climb up and down the hill as I am a slow walker. It was my first and last time there. I do not like hiking but since everyone went there before, I wanted to make at least a trip there.

The way up was not as tough as I thought, but it was not easy as well. I felt a bit dizzy on the way up, maybe due to the lack of sleep the night before and the air. The view at the top was nice. The sky was very clear. We were able to see a clearer view of Naengjeong and the areas around it and Taejongdae side. I felt like as if the clouds were right above my head as I reached the peak. They were moving very fast, forming shadows on the areas underneath it. We took another route back to the dormitory. It was easier to walk but longer.

We reached the dormitory at around 10am. Eileen was busy doing his final packing at that time. Many people were waiting outside our room. Wow… it looked like as if they were lining up for an autograph session. San Chi, Eileen’s labmate will be sending her to the airport. BJun and I felt like leaving Korea at that instant. We started doing some packing immediately after that. BJun always have the least luggage while I am always carrying a lot of things, a huge contrast indeed.
