September 18, Sunday – I forced Ryan to prepare for dinner today as I was the one preparing most of the time. He actually cooked quite a number of dishes – “bak kuh teh”, eggs with potatoes, “mee goreng” with sausage & tuna and cabbage. It turned out to be a big feast. Wei Shi invited his “girl friend” as well. He was eating quite little that day. I wondered if it is because that she was there. Wei Shi treated us to some cookies after dinner. Everyone was very full.
It rained during the evening and we were unable to see the moon on that day. Well, I never really celebrate this festival after growing up. I am not fond of moon cakes as well. But, spending a mooncake festival overseas, it's something.
