My first Korean class
September 12, Monday – Today I attended my first Korean Language class. Our language teacher is a Korean with poor English. The class started with calling each and every of our names. It was very funny, the way she pronounced them. She spent more than 30 minutes doing it. Then, we started with some introductions on the origins of Hangul, Korean’s characters. Then, we had a 10 minutes rest after 1.5 hour. She gave each of us a thin writing pad with huge squares and with our names printed on it. The writing pad is too cute. We somehow feel like as if we were attending an elementary school’s class. Then, she introduced to us the vowels and consonants. It was really boring, maybe it’s because we already know how to read them.
